The first Instagram post of the year can be a Golden Elegance or Midnight Celebration portrait you made in daylight on December 30 or 31. You do not need a live fireworks photo; many dogs should not be near those shows.

If you missed January 1
Post on January 2. The ritual is yours. A Golden Elegance file does not expire because the clock moved. What expires is daylight on a tired dog if you keep chasing a symbolic timestamp.
